Does anyone know if BB10 has a gesture or quick way of flipping to the last used app?

The only way I know of is to swipe up to get back to the app screen, then select the other app.

I'm just thinking of something like alt-tab or how Windows 8 tablets allow for swiping in from the left side to quickly switch. Even pressing and holding the BB button on a device like the 9900 and selecting the last app is easier.

I don't see how a long-press on a button, and then tapping on the app required is faster than a swipe up, then a tap.

It is easier, because there is less thumb/finger movement. Press for a second and tap (the last app is already selected). Its brilliant actually, and a good example of why I love the tool belt.

Guarantee that a swipe up and tap is faster than long pressing a button and tapping.

I'm sure it's something that could be easily implemented as a feature in the future. The swipe up method is great of course, but it would also be good to have a supplemental method to switch quickly to the last used open app.

Swipe up and tap is so fast. I don't see what the problem is. But like you I like options to do the same thing.
