    Hey folks!

So I noticed some apps cache too much data, thus taking too much space. What would be a good app for cache cleaning on my passport? Do those apps even work properly, or is the risk of them screwing up something high? I used to use ccleaner on my Android phone, so I was hoping there would be some solution for BB 10..

You already have one built in. Open Device Manager, Storage, click any app, and you'll see the Clear Data button.

Not true at all. A few apps have this built-in, most do not. This Crackberry app is one of the worst offenders. It often gets up to my second or third biggest app before I delete it.

Thankfully re-installing it and logging in seems to have zero adverse effects. It's only been about a week and you can see how big it's grown already.

Let me rephrase that then. The apps I have installed that grow out of control, allow me to clear their cache. Browser apps would naturally have a large cache, to enable the speed users demand. I can't answer to why it has no native ability to clear it, nor if there is an app that can. Have you tried using your browser instead, which does a decent job each time it's closed?

The Crackberry app on BB10 does have the native option to clear cache... Try pulling down settings.

In the CB10 app, you do a swipe from the top to bring up a menu bar; hit Settings then select cache control

Thanks for the tip on CB 10.

Any tips to reduce Snap? I don't want to mess up my loaded Google Play apps in the process.

So basically there is no app, that cleans the cache simultaneously ? I will have to clean the data from all apps separately or just reinstall them? Am I getting this right?

Yes. I have many apps that don't show up in the device monitor with the option to clear their cache.
