You guys should get a kick out of this. As we all know, you can play youtube videos in the background by default on BB10. I recently got a DTEK50 and was playing a youtube video while I went to check some messages. When I went back to the youtube video I got a question if I'd like to try a free trial of being able to play youtube videos in the background... After the trial I would have had to pay a monthly fee for this grand new feature... I can only laugh about it.

There are many ways of playing free youtube in the background. There are many apps, or you can simply use the Firefox browser.

BB10 does not have a youtube app. It's just a browser link.

But it still plays videos in the background without having to use a third or fourth party app. BB10 Fo'Life

Firefox is a 3rd or 4th party app to you?

ANY browser except for Chrome works fine.

Well. Chrome is the default browser, that was kinda my whole point here... but never mind. I still prefer the BB10 OS way, but the app gap made me switch. In all fairness the BlackBerry Android experience is not that bad.
