From past 3-4 days, suddenly battery started draining quickly. Full charge doesn't even last 10 hours. Pim services using most of the battery. I use basic apps and mostly emails sms BBM and whatsapp.

    I am on 10.2.1.2156 OS.

    Anyone facing similar problem?

Did you add another email account to your phone recently or change the sync interval for those accounts?

    1. Try and do a hard reset by pressing both the volume up and down simultaneously for a few seconds until the phone shuts off.

    Or

    2. Delete all your email/fb/twitter accounts and add them back again.

Exactly same problem with my Z30. I found out that Facebook Chat was open although ı keep it closed. But turning it off did not help at all.

I 'm looking for a solid solution without formats and wipes (Seems like that's the solution for everything with BB10)

I did not install anything for weeks; just updates..

    Soo frustrated..

I did a security wipe and reconfigured everything without restoring previous data. I still dont see much improvement in the battery life. Will check for a couple of days and see if there is any improvement.

Do you have the BlackBerry World eBay app installed by perchance?

    If so, uninstall and reboot.

Anyone care to explain the 244%??? I'm curious... I believe you cannot have over 100% usage...I could be wrong though...

Yeah, it is cumulative over the 48 hour period, each time it is charged starts the count over again. Thus he could be 60% on the first charge, 50% on the second, 30% on the third and so on, adding up to 244%. And yes, a very poor way of showing the results. It has created confusion many times for many people.

I don't think anyone noticed my earlier post, so just in case:

The BlackBerry World eBay app is a known battery killer. So DON'T use it.

You can run the Google Play Store one instead.

I hear what you are saying, do you think that the android version is the same thing? Because that is what I have installed.
