I tried out the app traffic monitor that was just posted about, because I wanted to check the battery cycles thing found out I had 545 cycles on my battery.

I checked bbve and I found the health of my battery has become yellow (I don't know since when) it was green last time I opened it a few months ago..

So how many cycles do you have and what's your health?
Or if someone can provide numbers on how many cycles do these batteries support before becoming yellow or red

I'm at 211 cycles on this battery and my health is green.

I do have an old battery that doesn't work well anymore. Curious to see how many cycles it has and what the health comes back on that. I'll have to try it later.

I would trust what you know to be true before an app. Never used it, but WTF, I'll see what it says on my old batteries.

It only says condition: 1 in the app for me. But mine has only been through 50 cycles so no worries lol.

I don't know where the app is pulling battery info from, you'll have to ask the developer. I just checked mine, and the info for this battery I'd say is rubbish. I'll check more this evening, but all my batteries are over a year old, and anyone who knows me will back up that 80 cycles is simply impossible.

Edit - As I suspected, the information is being obtained off the device. I didn't think the battery chip maintained a cycle count. A hard reset with battery swap resulted in a reading of 1 cycle. The developer makes no claims on App World about this, nor I suspect intended the app to be used for such diagnosis. See disclaimer in the screenshot below.

OP, I wouldn't worry about what you see, as I said before.

I never did a hard reset or swapped the battery only took it off once or twice.. I thought my number seems accurate because I've had my Z10 for 18 months and I charge it once a day so that seemed pretty close ..

Well the app's indicator is useless.

It shows over 5000 cycles on mine battery. Which is a bit strange considering my Z30 is two months old.

No way in hell I scored that

So I wouldn't worry. Although if the other monitor shows you that the battery is in yellow state maybe something is actually happening. Batteries do degenerate over time, this is no secret.
