I find it annoying that the built in BB10 alarm does not have an auto snooze function..

If I don't dismiss the alarm the phone just seems to keep alarming.

Or can it be done?? What am I missing????

Meaning the alarm will automatically snooze if I don't manually turn it off...

What would be the point of such alarms?
    I don't quite get it I suppose.
You want to be waken up for work but you don't want to tap the phone to silence it?
I can only imagine how many people would get into trouble for sleeping over....

Anyway I don't think it is possible to do in BB10.

On occasion I'm away from my phone and it keeps alarming till I can get to it... it disturbs other people in the house...

This feature is on my regular clock radio.. it will auto snooze after 5 minutes if you don't dismiss it... with the BlackBerry it seems it would alarm until the battery dies.

I've also wished that the snooze button could be large! Like using the whole real estate of my z10 screen the buttons on what you want to push.

    Cheers

My clock radio alarm shuts off after an hour later so. It assumes that I am not there. Doesn't bb10 do the same thing?

Well, my App Nightly Clock has Feature called Interval Alarm, you can set it to sound for a certain amount of time then silence, it will then wait a user set time and sound again (providing you tell it to) after the set times are up it will sound fully (won't stop till you stop it), may help you out if you're away from your device, set it to sound for 20 seconds, then set it to wait 5 or so minutes (it goes up to 40 mins between soundings max)

It also has a full size snooze and stop button, top and bottom of the screen respectively

I would appreciate that feature more on a plugged in, dedicated clock, not the phone that should be close to me at all times. If they do add this, it better not get enabled by default.
