My wife sends lots of pictures of my son (who is 2 right now) over bbm. The problem is for each picture I need to hit "Request HD" and then save it individually. I'd like to have an option to "auto HD" and "auto save" so all the photos get automatically captured to my SD card.

Any ideas how to achieve this?

Not in any current versions.

Perhaps better to wait until you are in same room together and simply use NFC to quickly share images/folder,

Or - create Dropbox/Box/OneDrive account, log in with same username on both devices, and let her save the images there instead.. Then you have access to them without any fuzz

Or - send via Email instead
