Scheduling: Due to issues identified in testing Blackberry will submit new FW for testing based on BB OS 10.3. Blackberry have delayed the submission to 6 March

Since everyone has been talking about it being released by BlackBerry on the 19/02. It is carrier controlled so we could be waiting months.

It will be very interesting to see what happens tomorrow if current rumours prove false and there is not at least a partial roll-out of 10.3 to in-market devices�.. I love my Z30, but this went past ridiculous when 10.3 failed to appear with the Classic, and Ron Louks gave a vague 'February' back in December�.

Disappointed about the wait, I'm running a 10.3 leak but am looking forward to the official 10.3.1. Hopefully throwing in an floptus or vodafail sim will get it earlier.

Vodafone and Optus usually rollout upgrades earlier than Telstra. I'll probably do the same and throw in a Optus or Vodafone SIM.

People will be upset if it fails to appear, but to get upset at BlackBerry for not releasing it would be stupid as the 19th is a RUMOR. BlackBerry never said anything other then February. February 28th is still February.


That being said, it's getting ridiculous how long this OS has been in development. I suspect that these "delays" are due to all the many changes that were required to add a tackpad to an OS that was specifically built never to need one.

Sometime this month we can expect the official roll-out to begin, based on current official info. (Although there are many unsubstantiated rumours floating about.) Some carriers will be quicker than others.
