I am running OS Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2228. I love it but when I open some apk or ported apps from blackberry world they crash. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

Is it happening all the time?
Is it always the same ones crashing while others always work?

Anyway, try a device reset first. (NOT the same as a Restart.)
Press top key and keep holding it down. Ignore onscreen options to Restart and any black screens. The red LED will flash, then release top key as soon as you see the white BlackBerry 10 logo right afterward.

Anything better after that?

I already know about that. And have done that multiple times. I have tried every trick I know of but doesn't work.

Ugh! Same device, sw upgrade with same problems with apps crashing. Have done the device reset more times than I care to count along with my small arsenal of tricks to no avail. Has to be a fix somewhere. Mostly Android ports crashing, but also having issues with BlackBerry Travel as well. Not pleased.

I FOUND THE ANSWER - WORKED FOR ME! So happy:

What I did in order:

1. I downloaded the bars from @Dealz417 link: 10.2.1.1925 Upgrade Bars

2. Put phone in development mode from settings, then I opened the chrome app on my desktop (bb10/playbook app manager) to uninstall both android bars, easiest way I found this was to ctrl+f and type android.

3. When uninstallation is complete, grab both of the android files from the link above: they are called:
sys.android-10.2.1.108.bar
sys.android.shell-10.2.1.108.bar

and then drag these files into the top-right corner of the chrome app

4. Let the apps install

5. Reboot the phone by holding down the power button + volume up&down buttons.

6. Voila! The android apps should prompt for app permissions and then it should work!
