I find myself missing this feature when I am in an app and want to, for example, silence the phone. As it is, I believe, I have to minimize the app and then swipe down...just and one extra step, I know, but still a little inefficient.

    Anyone else notice/miss this?

I dont know about that, but I miss swipe to close application. I wish active frames can be close by swiping up.

if phone rings, there will be a popup & you can press to ignore...

That's pretty simple I think... just swipe up to ignore the call, or down to answer.

They took out top corner swipes? It is a nice feature.I use it all the time. Can jump into settings and then right back into the app.

Once you're used to it on the PlayBook its hard to remember it doesn't exist on the Z10. I must do it at least once a day. Lol.

After the first time I remember I have to swipe up from the bottom to check time or battery or full swipe to minimize the app to change settings or something - but then I use my PlayBook again and sure as anything the next time I'm on the Z10 I'm trying to corner swipe again.

+1 rob. It's an extra step that isn't really necessary. Z10 has diagonal swipes as we can see in the Android player. It should be there.

To be honest I don't miss it as the peak from the bottom up is more natural for me.

I have not touch my PB in about 2-3 months since the phone so you will easily get use to it and when bb10 gets on the PB it will be more standardized. Corner swipe would mean using two hand, which is what the Z10 is not meant to be designed for. I guess the options should still be there but there is no love lost here.

Hopefully bedside mode can be easily accessed by a corner swipe or a two finger swipe.

The corner swipe was extremely useful, I do hope they bring it back.

Highly doubt it will return. Swiping up while in an app shows you all important info.

If you want to silence your phone, just use the volume rocker and turn it all the way down, plus one extra hit.

You could do more then that, access settings without minimising the app, adjust brightness. This is the big one, I'd want it back just for this alone.
