Wanted one to send for my niece in SA. Maybe I'll settle for a Z10 instead but was thinking of the better battery life of Q5. I know Kodoo is selling Q5 for $150 plus tax up here but you have to unlock those plus I'm sure you have to activate a monthly plan in order to get at that price. So that means even if you activate and promptly cancel you will still be stuck with at least one month of useless billing.

Purchased a Q10 before the sale was over. But the "Shop Blackberry Canada" needs a little help. I have purchased many things online (including Crackberry) and the process for each was generally quite simple. SBBC - sent me confirm of order - but that's it. Nothing in the way of 'Expect your order ___ days or You"ll receive a tracking number in __ days'. After a couple of days the log in for the order produced no further information. After about 45mins I was able to track down a telephone number to call - and the Customer Service agent wasn't even able to help - 'we can not provide you this information at this time' was all I got. I even asked 'how long does it generally take to fulfill and order before shipment, 3 - 5 days'? 'Sorry sir - we are unable to find that information for you at this time".

Love the product. So far the Shop Blackberry service 'Not so good'. Anyone else in this boat?

My friend and my sister ordered unlocked Z10s online last week. They got their devices four days after they ordered (2 days after the order confirmation, they got another email of shipment confirmation with FedEx tracking#. I got no luck. I ordered a Z10 this Monday night and got the order confirmation by email right after I placed the order. Today I haven't got any shipment confirmation yet (4 days over). Therefore, I phoned Customer Support today. Even though the girl found out that my order is still being processed but cannot tell me exactly when they get the phone shipped, she is helpful, creating a ticket for the department for follow-up. She said I would receive an email within 48 hours about order status or shipment details. I guess because of during the time the promo code for $100 off was getting over this week, a relatively high volume of purchases make them busy processing orders and shipment.
