    I have a blackberry passport right now but I used to use a blackberry torch 9800.
    On OS 6 you had the file manager and photo gallery (the same as OS10) but on OS 6 I could create a folder on the SD Card called say, 'photos', (as the stock name is pictures on OS6) an then i could add images to the photos folder without it being added to the image gallery.. But when I do the same on OS10, (sock folder name is photos so mine is called images) it still gets added to the image gallery..

    How do I stop this?

    Not sure if this will work but try adding a file called .nomedia in the folder you don't want scanned.

    Place the folder in the Video folder, that way the pictures won't show up in the Pictures app!

    You sir are a genius. I applied the same theory and made a new folder with a random name and now the gallery does not pick it up. I guess that OS10 is so clever that it picks up folders called pictures

    It will in time The way is to put a ".nomedia" file in the folder as Zetai stated.
