    I couldn't resist sharing this article. Apologies, if it's been shared already or if you've read it. None of what is mentioned in the article is surprising just that the ability to walk away with this kind of scam is hilarious.

    Begs a question, how protected is BB10 OS if one were to download things like mentioned in this article.

    It would be unaffected at all.

    An android app would not be able to take control of a BB10 device like that.

    You could simply swipe up to minimize the "app" and close it.

    Hell, I'll test it on my own phone, I'll be willing to wipe it clean if I can't get rid of it.

    It will affect the Android Runtime but will be unable to any further than that (Although the Android itself has very little information in that) so practically nothing to a BlackBerry
