    Like windows, that's the danger of having the largest installed user base. It's about visibility: the platform is too large not to be attractive to hackers.

    A lot of people (look at android population) don't care and they still don't care.

    I actually don't care because I think (at least they make me think that I can think) that I can control my privacy on an Android. Like I can turn off data; can control the notifications; can choose which account that I dont want to sync...

    I don't disagree with you, but based on user population alone one would expect iOS to have more than the 1% F-Secure found.

    Interesting.

    Google Play: 0.1%. Also implies Goog moves quickly to fix issues.

    So, it goes back to the same old data points. Download from approved stores, and avoid apps that body parts in the name.
