    As per BlackBerry's management's standing orders and marketing strategy 10.2 will not be released until it is obsolete or they can put something in it customers will hate. It's a long standing policy obviously.

    That's the 10.1 Maintenance Release. It first rolled out sometime in July if I remember correctly, but some carriers have been taking their time approving it (as usual). Judging by previous update cycles, chances are we'll see a maintenance release of 10.2 as well, before they move on to 10.3.
