Huge fan of CrackBerry and have been a long time BB user.
I recently & finally switched to the new operating system and love it!!!
The only issue I'm having is adding one of my emails. I've never had this issue before with previous BB's. I had no issues adding my Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook accounts, however I'm having a major problem adding a different email. It's more of a personal account and the provider is StormWeb (it's an IMAP). It seems that no one from Bell or Blackberry can figure this out, even though it was escalated to Tier Two tech support. I've tried almost everything to set this email up, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you... Chris

    Welcome to CrackBerry.

The first thing we need to know is what device & OS version you're using. The setup will vary. For OS version, you can type "myver" less the quotation marks in any text field and press enter.

Sorry for the delay -- a busy day.

Stormweb looks like a service that uses your own domain. In these settings I'm suggesting, DOMAIN = your own domain. I'm offering 2 suggestions. The first is preferred as it's more secure, but the second may be the best based on what I've read about StormWeb.

Go to Settings > Accounts, Add Account. Select Advanced at the bottom of the screen > IMAP.
    Description: Whatever you want
    Display Name: Whatever you want
    Username: Your full email address
    Password: Your password
Email address: Your Full email address
Server address: imap.DOMAIN.com (".com" will change to match your domain: i.e., DOMAIN.net)
    Port: 993
    Encryption: SSL
    IMAP path prefix: Leave blank
SMTP User Name: Your full email address
    SMTP password: Your password
    SMTP Server Address: smtp.DOMAIN.com
    SMTP Port: 465
    SMTP Encryption: SSL
Use Push if supported: (I'd suggest Yes)
Append messages to Sent Folder: (Try with this off.)

I'm sorry that I couldn't help any further. I've relayed your issue to an acquaintance that may have another option. If he has anything, I'll let you know.
