Running leaked .2354.

Noticed that the 90 days worth of emails added I'm adding an account were gone, back down to 30 days worth as when I first got my z10. Deleted and re added account -- 90 days worth added, and after a day back down to 30.

Anyone know why? How to keep 90 days worth going? Another os that corrects this?

Very odd. i've been running the same OS. ver since it came, with connection to as BES 10 server and without a connection to the BES 10 server. With endless email correspondance. yesterday upgraded to the official verseion and no problems at all. WHich server are you connected to ?

This issue is specific to IMAP email accounts and seems to be prevalent among 10.1 leak users, but I recall seeing posts from some "official" 10.1 users experiencing the same. It's been such a PITA that I've migrated from my IMAP Gmail accounts to Outlook.com accounts. Those use ActiveSync vs. IMAP, and have the Sync Timeframe option of "forever". I also love the "alias" system available with outlook.com accounts. I've compacted 4 Gmail accounts into 2 Outlook accounts. They have a decent migration tool as well -- now all my email going back for years is available on my Z.

Same issue with deleted emails including phone logs and sms.
I was having only one imap and two pop- accounts. So to me it does not seem an isolated imap-problem.

The 90 day initial sync defaulting back to 30 days after a day (or reboot) is isolated to IMAP only on 10.1, as POP maximum initial sync is still limited to only 30 days.

Can anyone verify if the offilial releases of 10.1 -- especially ATT -- have, or do not have, this problem? I.e. is it limited to the leaks, or to all that is 10.1?

As of this week, with the 10.1.0.4537 and. 4543 leaks, IMAP now has the "forever" option as well.

4543 Forever Emails, I have them back to 2010. Running 10.1.0.4543 Verizon.

Thanks, tried 4543, but was pretty unstable on my phone. Didn't hear much good about 4537, so back to .2354 waiting on a more reliable leaked update.

4537 seems to have fixed the disappearing 90 day retention for IMAP.. I wish they'd give a 90 day option for Exchange accounts too, as 30 days is too little and forever is way too much..
