Why bother if it's over wifi Lol
Let it eat whatever it wants as long as it stays away from your data plan..

How do you check this data? Is a built in, or a 3rd party application?
    Thanks.

There is a full featured Device Monitor in the 10.2.xxxx - I don't know which version of 10.2 started it. It is in the Settings app or can be placed on the Quick List

I run 10.2.0.1803 on my Q10 and the device monitor won't show the data posted further up this thread (i.e. Data traffic).

It's a settings issue, it sounds like. Wifi or not, it's difficult to use that much data if you are not streaming video.

Bb10 says compared to legacy is a disaster. I get why that is, month more BlackBerry servers but still, the change is real and on the list of many differences that users has no for-warning of.

Connected to a BES? What email servers?

It could be something as simple as a change to an activesync account (on the server side) causing a re-sync of the account. If you've got thousands of emails, contacts, calendar in that account, it would easily chew up a lot of data as it synchronizes.

From the graph, it's clearly downstream data, so it's data syncing TO your device - not uplink data.

It's called research. That is your for-warning lol. It uses the same amount of data as iPhone or Androids.

I wasn't comparing it to iPhone and Android. Note in my post, I was comparing it to legacy BlackBerry devices. Research? Oh my.....

Just means that the increased data usage was unexpected by many BlackBerry 10 purchasers.

I had a similar problem, and the culprit was syncing videos/large files with BB10's built-in Evernote integration.

Threads like thus make me happy to still have my unlimited data. Sure guys like me have to pay more out of pocket for our phones, but I'm willing to do it if that's what it takes. I just checked my data usage through the vzw app and with 10 days left in my month left I've used almost 9gig if data.

But back on topic, I would make sure location service is of, and anything that automatically syncs is off as well.

Leak os or select app that uses data.

Also this never happeneds over cellular only wifi so unlimited data doesn't mean anything. I can care less what my usage is I would just the usage under what's using it. I'm sure it's a sync for something
