Blackberry assistant can not delete what I ahve type before. It is annoying. For example:

I type "bro" and activate the browser.
Then I close the browser.
I type "contant" to activate the "contants", but the "bro" that I have typed before is still there. I have to delete it manually.

Really? I have just load 10.3.1.632 on my Q10(SQN100-3). The problem is still there.

Do you actually close the assistant frame??
As long as you don't close it, why should it erase your last search?

The assistant shouldn't delete your last search if you've only minimized it.
DELETING without being closed would be a bug.

I do not close the assistant. But I have activated the browser with typing "bro". Then I minimize the broswer to activate another app. Should I close the assistnant first?! It is diffent from 10.2.2. Why Blackberry change it????

Assistant isn't even in 10.2...... So it is a new function, not a changed function
It's functioning the way it's meant to be

Is this on the Passport? You don't say which phone...

If it's a non-passport device, thanks for the tip but since OS 10.3.x isn't officially available for devices like the Z10, Q10, and Z30 any beta leak is just that a beta, meaning it has code in it that may not fully work. It's like using Windows 10 Beta in production and expecting it to be perfect! LOL

Even if it's a full OS (with radio, apps, ...), it's still a developer OS. All "leaked" is beta in nature (well, alpha too)
I confirm that universal search works perfectly in the last official OS. Why don't you get back on the "right" path and wait for a Q10 official release of 10.3.1 ?
