So has it been confirmed if doubletyping is software or hardware issue?

I have been having random doubletyping on spacebar every once in a while.

Would love to know this software issue only....

Never had DT issue since 10.3.2.798. If there still, it's only very minimal. Atleast better than 10.3.1.

So you would say that it is a software issue then? Considering changing OS's will change the frequency of the doubletyping?

My understanding is that it is a hardware issue BUT I believe there was some sort of software fix implemented in some of the more recent 10.3.2 builds (e.g. 10.3.2.2339) which has fixed the issue (or at least made it less frequent) for some users (unfortunately, it did not fix it for everyone).
Basically, the software that reads the key strokes is smart enough to recognize some of the occurrences of double typing (produced by hardware failure), but doesn't catch it every time.

It's possible it's software related on Passport I suppose. On other devices it's clearly a hardware issue.

I posted somewhere else, but I believe it's soft ware.
I have the occasional double typing issue. Not too thrilled about it, but it is what it is. Lately, it's hardly happening at all, and the other day I pounded out a 3000 plus character Word document and NOT ONE double type mistake.
Actually, and I hate to jinx my self, but since I have done that Doc, I don't think my Passport has double typed once since.........

My Q10 double types, but after the past two major updates, it was slightly better for a while, then increased when there was a software update around the corner.

I don't know what else to say.

    Atleast on my Passport, yes.

But my Q10 still has the issue and worst than before (thinking of selling it or trade with full touch).

    I think it's a software issue.

My Q10 started double typing last year the day I updated to (I think) 10.2. It hasn't stopped since, & as time went on I think has gotten worse. Clearing "learned words" did help a lot, but it didn't get rid of the issue. It just probably returned it to the level it was when it started. I would be REALY happy if a fix was coming soon

My Classic so far has not had any issues. Nor has my Passport.

The double typing issue is hardware related, I had a device protection plan on mine and had to replace it a year ago. Has worked great ever since.

My passport never had double typing issues until i loaded the 10.3.2.544 leak. Now it does, and it also has trouble staying connected through a usb port, which makes it impossible to load one of the newer leaks. Extremely annoying.

Im afraid I cant confirm! Im on Passport 10.3.2.2339 and double-typing (mostly the character "e") occurs rather often.
