Probably to early, but I don't think it's a good idea to remove flash support.

How about you guys? What do you think?

It's just an sdk. They could have removed it for multiple reasons or maybe even made it default. No way to know until it's officially released

I see. Thanks man. I'm not too knowledgeable about stuff like this, just a regular BlackBerry fan who kinda got confused about it. Hopefully it will still be there in the 10.3.1 OS.

    Cheers!

It's possible that they did remove it but it's more likely it's temporary. If you do a quick search, when the 10.3.0.140 (or something like that) was released, it had a red theme. Everyone thought that we would get themes. Next update came and any trace of themes vanished.

Omg read the whole thread. The sdk is not a full os. It's not even available for phones. Just because it's missing a few features, doesn't mean they won't be here for final os. Look exactly 1 post up

You are confusing a Dev OS and a SDK, they are two different things.

And yet you are not sure if the original os will have flash support.

This is just a general discussion. Don't take it personally.

We are all here to help or learn something.

So lets hope that they don't remove it, because if it happens really would be a very dumb Idea

They're not dumping Flash support. I'm pretty sure that would be been announced the same time the announced that Air would no longer be supported.

Don't take a Dev OS as being in any way representative of production. Hundreds of things could change.

Maybe, though AIR is a platform for developers to build apps with. BlackBerry warned devs about AIR support going away to prepare them for their apps no longer working. The idea is to have them port it to other languages.

I don't think the same warning is necessary for Flash disappearing.

    Dev OS here:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=964005

Some confirmed flash is no longer there. Hopefully it's because it's just a dev OS. And on the official 10.3.1, hopefully it will be back.

Would be a real pain "IF" it's gone for good.
