    Hey Guys,

I don't mean to have what might be a misleading title. Make a long story short is I have a Mac. I havent had the luxury of accessing a PC. Today Im at my parents house until later tonight and they have a PC that if I want to upgrade to a leak, I can. Only thing is, if I do, I can't downgrade because I wont have access to another PC for a while. Is it stable and well enough to run as a daily driver or should I not chance it knowing I wont have the option to downgrade if needed?

    Thanks for your input

You won't want to downgrade if installed properly.

Might want to update your forum profile, then.

The STL100-2/3 10.2.0.1047 autoloader is what you should use.

Just so you know you can go back to official with your apple computer, through link of course. This is the way I do it, as it's faster than doing it through a pc.

I recommend it too... the OS is mind blowing and super smooth. contacts are an issue. I now have four entries for everyone. I've actually given up now... even with just one account to sync for contacts. I'm deleting contacts as and when I use them. Hopefully I can pare it down.

Apps work well, Instagram which is a source of concern among a lot of BlackBerry users works fine. Except that you need to install the old version and then the new one.

I'm waiting for the official OS to be released now.

As Slff pointed out you can definitely go back to a carrier OS on a mac. One point is that you may want to test things before leaving the pc area. If for some reason you get a bad restore or install you will want the autoloader handy.

I have been running the leak since it was made available on Crackberry and I think it is awesome. Not only did they fix a few annoying bugs but BB added a host of new features.

I hope the upgrade goes well and enjoy your new OS

Just make sure you back up before install. There are some bugs but for the most part it's pretty stable. I don't have HDR shooting but I don't use it, some people are having problems with hot spot or tethering but I think that's a carrier issue, I'm am not having the problem . Before you install take a look at 10.2.1047 bugs which are minor and decide if you can live with them. After you install 10.2, it is recommended the you do a wipe to make sure you start fresh and new.

It's way easier then legacy devices. Takes all of two minutes to get started and about 5 mind for install. It's a no Brainer to install. Just make sure you now you device model number,eggs.. stl 100---1,2,3,4. You can find that under setting>about screen. Then choose your download from the link, unzip and off you go (by the way, the loader is in that link as well)

A lot of people didn't do a wipe...but I read the whole post and decided to do it as it was suggested. IT can't hurt to wipe the phone before you start loading it up again with media, apps and so on.

It was suggested to me after you do the new OS to make sure the install was completely successful.
