Typical. When has Verizon been known to give a straight answer about any questions that are asked? I think they are all just programmed to say that, no matter what is asked, except for billing inquiries. Then we get all sorts of answers out of them! Even S!@# we don't want to know

You should have pointed out that 10.2 is available for numerous other carriers around the world (and maybe given a few links to prove such) and then asked why Verizon insists on dragging its feet.

I have thought about down loading a leak, but it is crazy when Verizon could just release the update.

Being a mac user is the only thing that is stopping me from loading a leak. Otherwise I would have done so a long time ago. Maybe I should go back to a pc

I asked when they were releasing it and told them the rest of the world has had it for months. Then told them they need to better support and promote bb10.

"The leak"(aka autoloader) is an .exe file. Download it, double click it with your phone attached to your computer. It does the rest of the work for you.

All of that presumes Verizon actually cares about supporting BB10. It clearly has no interest in promoting it or anything BB at this point. Go into a VZW store and ask about one of the phones, and see how quickly you get steered toward something else. Go play with one of the phones, ask a question, and see whether anyone knows how it works.

Want even more fun? Pull out a Z10 and casually show off in front of a sales person what it can do, and see what his/her/its reaction is. The few people who will pay attention to BB are genuinely impressed - but otherwise, if it's not an iPhone or an Android device, it's not worth talking about except to drag it through the mud while talking up iPhones/Androids.
