Going for how quickly EE released 10.1, I wouldn't expect anything for at least another month from them. Vodafone will be the first in the UK I think.

Exactly. The SIM card operator determines the update availability in any case (handset locked or unlocked).

I agree which is why I have a Vodafone sim as well, I am hoping this weekend but have nothing to back that up with.

Unfortunately, AFAIR, giffgaff did not release any BlackBerry OS10 updates.
Your best bet would be getting a prepaid SIM of an UK operator, who will first offer the update.

GiffGaff is part of O2 so either bung another sim in or wait and see if you get the o2 update.

I've downloaded and did get a 10.1 variant.. I totally missed 10.2 and. All it's features, but did not want to be stuck on a leak (not saying that my 1791 wasn't stable).

Anyways, I've used the option to get the official 10.2.0.1767 from Singapore. :-)

No. In the singapore thread it tells you how to use the Sachesi tool. This tool as I understands, searches the country you input for the current BlackBerry OS in use. And in this instance, Singapore is used and it gave me the Official 10.2.0.1767.

Works great... so, I don't need to wait on my carrier (thats you o2).
