I don't know if it's an improvement of the latest 10.2.1 or because of the exFAT formatting, but the device scans the sdcard real fast now, if you had taken it out and reinserted it.
I have lots of content on my 64GB card and before it took way longer to index all files again and show it to you.

I had the same experience, but also can't tell what made the difference since two things changed very close together.

Download Noted, my 5-star rated, native BB10 notepad app.

Umm, look at the date on my post. It's almost 6 months old and 10.2.1 did not support exFAT at that time. :-)

Same here. My error was something like "the handle is invalid."
Getting the same thing for sure. I made sure BB Link was updated too - thought that might have been it but nope.

I'm getting the same error. Good to know it's not just me. Getting the same error when plugged into PC and not in Mass Storage mode. However, if I take the card out and stick it in the SD slot on my PC, I can access just fine.

As far as I know you need link running to see the mapped drives in windows explorer (Wifi or USB), unless you've mapped them manually.

You may be thinking about M2M. Computer needs to be on the internet with Link running, but you can access your files on the PC from the phone from any network, not just wifi.

I am also having this problem, just replaced my Sandisk 32Gb ultra with 64Gb extreme plus (both exFAT I believe). Getting the "the handle is invalid." when I click on the Y mapped drive for the SD card. When I switch to mass storage it works fine. I am running Win 7 with most recent versions of link and BB10 and rebooted both devices. I may create a new thread, this title in misleading for the issue...

Having the same problem. WTF?!? I thought exFAT was supposed to be an upgrade.

Yeah, something isn't working. The device storage is fine, and USB Mass storage would great, but networked access to the SDCARD isn't functional.

This has to be addressed in a BB Link Update! I have no idea why is it like this lol. I mean shouldn't Network Access not care what File System a medium has?

You don't need an update for BlackBerry Link, you could connect to your sd card through every PC without Link before.
