In the camera app, moving the focus square, are you referring to HDR shots?

In standard shot mode I cannot move the focus square at all....

No, it's not limited to HDR shots.

Might have to try rebooting. I've had the focus square stuck in the center on occasion, but it was never permanent.

You can lock the location of the square - it's a quick tap on the square after putting it in position (and a white lock icon will display at the bottom edge of the square). It will then stay there shot after shot until you drag it somewhere else again. But that doesn't sound like your issue.

If thats the case, most likely it was a bug. Is it possible to just install the bar file over the previous? 2141 is not yet availablr in my country and i would rather wait for the official update rather than destructive leak

I'm on 10.2.1.2141 and using a Z10 and the exposure function I've used previously isn't working for me. Not sure how previous posters have it working cause that was one of my favorite features.

Anybody noticed the lock focusing feature? I discover this by accident by long pressing the focus square. It works under timelaspe and single shot but not under video.

I noticed that yesterday, but wasn't sure if it was present in earlier builds. I just assumed it was, and that I just hadn't tried long-pressing the focus square before.

Does that just lock the focal distance?

After several test it seems it only lock focal distance, which is quite useful for "waiting for the subject to pass"

Wow, you learn something new every day.

10.2 on my Z10 and the focus lock feature works by long-pressing the green square. It pulses briefly and the lock icon appears. AE continues to work with the focus locked. Tap inside the green square to disable AF lock.

    Nice find

Also, it locks to that location on the screen from shot to shot. Otherwise, the box reverts back to the screen center after after taking a picture.

Finally i have the guts yo sideload camera-10.200.2.1 bar file from 10.2.1.2102 into my 10.2.1.537.... and now the exposure/metering works as before, although still no face detection option, im happy with this. Focus lock works.

Exposure does not lock together with focus lock.

Video still does not autofocus on-the-fly when the camera shifted its view, although moving the focus box while video ia recording does refocus on the new square position

    After the release, eh?

That doesn't help. Why not put the camera app in BB world so they don't have to push an update to carriers, wait for approval, etc...
