Before you can install these you need to go to settings -> App Manager -> Installing Apps and turn the allow apps from other sources to ON

Then you can get most of the android apps you like

I installed the latest version of Google play on my z10, and for a second I was excited because it did seem like it was about to work, but after showing me this screen it just minimized and waited for me to close the app.

I just wanted to try. I ran leaked 1055 and Google play didn't even come close to opening. Now in the official 10.2.1 is opens, loads, and closes...
Just thought I'd share..

I use one mobile as snap and DROID store haven't been working for me. One mobile is pretty decent tho, far superior to amazon as well imho

Am always interested where people get these ideas... never ever saw any announcement stating you can use Google Play on the BB 10 series phones..... People seem to want to believe things even when they so not exist.... Simply download snap... solves most issue..... not to rain on the OP parade but not all Andoid apps are going to work... just to take the sting out of the next great disappointment....

Please be aware that the "537" number often mentioned is the "software release". That is actually a secondary number to the "OS Version" which is "1925". It is actually much newer than 1055.

Learn to look up in "Settings" > "About" > and from the drop-down list, "OS". There, the different numbers are spelled out.

OS Version 10.2.1.1925 is also Software Release 10.2.1.537.

Carriers go by the "Software Release" number. We go by the actual OS version.

Back in the Legacy OS days, it wasn't any better. The carriers went by the "bundle number" as they were called, but we still went by the OS version number.

obviously you are wrong.

537 is Software release.
It has 1925 OS and 1899 radio.

go to Settings -> About -> OS

I've never ventured with side loading. Did my update this am, searched for Netflix apk file, did download with the install on device and BAM! It works flawlessly
