So with 10.1 came the removal of modest vs aggressive mode and those are replaced with:

Space Bar auto correct on/off. Selecting Off grays out the bar below...

Selection bar sub-options: Off / Correct misspelled words / Insert top prediction

So my question is, since that bar below isn't labeled, what does off mean? Why is that even an option? If you turn the switch off above for space bar correct, that bar greys out anyway, so what is off on the bar mean? You get what I mean? It seems contradictive.

Aside from that, has anyone experimented between the two (or three I guess) sub-options for space bar correct?

that would be the way i understand it also. I do think they are bad at the descriptions especially since it has changed from previous versions
