This seems to eventually happen on every BB I have ever had (This is my 5th).
My Q10 was VERY fast at first, but now when I click the "Enter" key to send a message, it goes away for 1-1.5 secs then it shows as sent.

Also, when I open a message, the screen may go blank a bit for a moment.

Does anyone know how to keep a device moving fast? Thanks!

I get this too. I thought my phone is acting slow. When I open a text message, it'll take a FEW seconds to render it. /:

Anyone have a fix for this, please help!

Just a shot in the dark but try to reset your hub....5 swipes diagonal from left to right

Reset hub (5 swipes diagonally from top right corner in), or power button hold and select restart.

Swipe, swipe it good...via CB10 from my Z10

I've heard it's due to having many old text messages saved on the device. Try deleting as many messages as you can. See if it works

I tried resetting the hub and also deleted almost ALL text message conversations (Wow, it saves a lot).
Still definitely slower then when I got the phone but may have improved a bit.

I'll keep you guys posted - if anyone else has any ideas let me know. This is by far the worst thing about BB and I hated how my 9900 got to be VERY bad towards "the end"... I definitely want to keep the Q10 fast

Put your index finger up by the "service icon" showing your bars and swipe it diagonally 5 times in a row and it will reset your HUB.
You can also just restart your phone but this is faster since your phone isn't restarting, only the hub.
(I just learned this as well). Good luck.

Update -- It's definitely faster now!

Just gotta keep those SMS deleted -- it seems to save emails for 30 days, and I have all my pictures going to a 32GB Mini SD.
So I am definitely going to be deleting unimportant SMS now manually every week or so.
It's running MUCH faster now!! Thanks guys.

Also rebooting your phone every so often helps a lot.

This is a bug with importing texts from older BBs. Basically just delete any imported texts and it'll run perfectly. The same thing happened to me, as well as countless people on crackberry.

I'm on 10.2.1047 and loving it. After I figured out how easy it is to install a new OS. Ten times easier than legacy os. It has some know bugs but it's much better than the MR. For some reason the MR release was so bad, my phone was heating up to 45 deg which in turn was killing my battery. I love that 10.2 has a app manager built in the os
