Anyone else noticed paid games take lots of space, up to 2GB and drain, (f**k) the battery sidewards.

Anyway to retain/fix this,

Like compressing the app.

I don't think there is, but let's get some game players in on this. Maybe add a couple of suggestions.

I got your suggestion right here... Games drain the battery like crazy so keep a charger handy if you wanna game

They do on Android, also, churning out those graphics gets you into a high-drain situation, and that's just what it is.

Yup, unfortunately that's just how it is... And keeping the screen lit doesn't help either. Best case, we get a sweet extended battery at some point

There is obviously room for improvement (optimisation).
Battery lasts longer on the my iPhone playing the very same games.
