Given all that we can now know about the BB10 devAlpha device, is it possible to know if BB10 will be a success? What would be the best single question to ask a developer to discern whether the BB10 platform will be successful? If we can know now, we can make a fortune!!
I would go so far as to say that if RIM continues on their current path and delivers on BB10, as it currently looks like they will, the factors that determine the success or failure of BB10 will have absolutely nothing to do with the technology itself.
