I am new to Blackberry and looking to get a BB10 device

I would recommend the latest z30 phone. I own the z10, but I heard that a lot of good feedback from the z30. It has a big screen and better specs compared to the z10. Though, if you aren't a big screen fan, the z10 is still a awesome choice. I prefer a smaller size phone compared to those giant phones. If you are a keyboard lover, then it's a no brainer. The q10 would be prefect for you.

I was a keyboard fanatic and thought I would upgrade from my 9800 to a Q10 after trying to type on a Z10 which I found to be horrible. Then I decided to wait until I tried typing on a Z30 before making a decision. After a minute on a Z30, I bought one. Then, using "device switch", moving over BBM contacts, and all other contacts, files, calendar, pictures etc, the transfer was seamless. I had to download "Blackberry link" to move music from my Mac to my new Z30 (note: a minimum of Mac OS X 7.0 is needed for Blackberry Link to work). Speakers are fantastic, voice command works great, great maps, compass, etc I have only had it for a day, but in my opinion, Blackberry hit one out of the park with this phone. If you are considering a new Blackberry, you can't go wrong with a Z30:-)......

I'll recommend getting one keyboard and one touch screen phone... start with one the buy the other and alternate...

Z30 has a great virtual keyboard. However, if you prefer a physical keyboard I would recommend the Q10.

I have all three. Z10, Q10 & the Z30. As an all round BlackBerry, imo I feel that a Z10 on an official 10.2 is best right now.

With the Z10 you now have good battery life, it comfortably fits in your pocket, it isn't as heavy as the Z30, it has an ideal screen for YouTube / movies etc and now it's cheap.

If you are a keyboard lover, q10 or q5 would do the trick or else it's the z10 bit if you want optimum battery and sound quality and you are willing to sacrifice the screen display a bit, then the z30 is for you and it's also faster
