    Thank's a lot

The release with print support (and new playcloud menu) is submitted but not yet approuved...

It's still a test release - so if you see issue, alert me (here or in private or through blackberry world support)

By the way, which dev alpha do you have got ? A or B ?

PlayCloud is now available in the BlackBerry World. So you can play with the new print feature and try the new menu.

    The description isn't yet updated.

PlayCloud 10 works with your Lexmark Pro715 printer, but you have to wait BlackBerry 10 devices release.

I see Playcloud in the App World. Is the Playcould for the Playbook going to be updated in time? (I see so, reading thru the thread)

Any chance of adding InSync to the app?

Hi, PlayBook will be updated with BlackBerry 10. It's easier to devel on BlackBerry 10 OS, and the OS offers more features. So PlayCloud 10 will be too available on PlayBook.

In future, you will find PlayCloud (using AirSDK) and PlayCloud 10 (using Cascades).

If you will have the both deviced BlackBerry 10 mobile and the PlayBook (with OS 10), you will need only one purchase. At last PlayCloud (using AirSDK) won't never available on the mobile.

Of course you will find new and more features but for the moment, I can't say more.

This looks like it will be one of the first applications I get once BB10 is released. One question on the print function though: will it work to non-PostScript printers? My office didn't pay the extra money Ricoh wanted for a PostScript option so we can only use PCL.

Overall though, this really shows a lot of the promise that BB10 and QNX can offer, keep up the good work. Those of use without Alpha devices are just biding our time until we can get our hands on these apps.

    Thank's a lot.

It should work with PCL also. Beside of my printer (in the vido) is PCL.

At last, you can also install a print server service on your computer if doesn't work directly with the printer (as CUPS).

    Means ?

    What is PlayCloud?

This app permits to manage your clouds data (dropbox, box, skydrive, Google drive) and standards as ftp and webdav (with or not ssl)

I have written this app mainly for webdav to use with owncloud.

Now the app allows to use printers.

    I'm adding other features.

    Hi Nicolas,

I am very much looking forward to downloading this app for BB 10 as we have recently set up Owncloud on our shared server. Do you have future plans to develop a native owncloud app?

Thank you in advance and excellent work thus far!

    Hi,

I have written PlayCloud 10 to be able to use with my OwnCloud server.

As OwnCloud is a WebDAV server, it works with PlayCloud.

I patched OwnCloud with some workarounds to be able to use CalDAV and CardDAV with the PlayBook and the BB10.

I'll continue to improve the support with OwnCloud.

Now, few days before the BlackBerry 10 launch day, I share with you a new feature... "sharing".

How many times, do you have taken photos or videos and you wish to send to your friends... and impossible ! Files are too big. And how to send to several contacts in using mail, BBM...

So, with PlayCloud 10 you will find a solution. Copy your media on your Cloud storage accounts, then enjoy !

    PlayCloud 10 preview-img_00000262.jpg PlayCloud 10 preview-img_00000265.jpg

Create a share link (with read and/or write permissions), then send the link over BlueTooth, NFC, BlackBerry Messenger or third applications are able to send links.

    PlayCloud 10 preview-img_00000263.jpg PlayCloud 10 preview-img_00000264.jpg

But PlayCloud permits more in using advanced collaborations supports (only with Box service).
