    Just wondering if anyone knows why your full phonebook from the phonebook app does not show up in the phone app with the contacts tab. Should it not be reading from the same location?

    It only shows people with actual phone numbers.

    Not for me. It is missing a large portion of numbered contacts.

    Reboot?

    Hold the top buttom till you see the BB logo loading screen. Don't let go till you see that.

    If even after the reboot, you still have that issue, consider:

    • Double check if your phone is set to display the right accounts;
    • Double check if your merged contacts merged right;
    • Removing all accounts from the device, rebooting (as stated above) and then adding them over (to fix the database).

    Oh it has been this way from my old Z10 to my Z30. This has been standard.

    What I was trying to say is that I have done those things many times between both phones. That is not the issue.

    Do you mean in phone app, you're missing contacts stored locally, cloud, or social media? Or just some contacts in random places?

    I guess I'm asking for an example.

    Also, if you use the search feature for a contact you don't see while scrolling, does it come up?

    It is a issue they have with the contacts and phone contacts. I hope they get it fixed its a pain int the drain
