Note to Dev Alpha Users
I got so used to having the PlayBook now being able to charged when it is powered off that this even came to mind. But Ive tried it a few times already, Dev Alphas CANNOT be charged while it is still off so if you want to charge it. keep it on! Just an FYI
. Also the time seems to be off as well, i have to reset mine almost everytime (it might be cause mine doesnt have a sim/doesn sync with network but ... its really off)

So what happens when the battery dies and it won't boot up?
I mean, wouldn't this be quite common with its small battery?Developer of PPSSPP, ReQognise, Dingleberry, PB Connect, Sachup + Sachibar and other Qt apps. Porter of many opensource Qt apps.

I've had mine die several times and it boots back up fine after a charge.
Maybe I'm just lucky... - 05-05-2012, 09:00 AM #6
Yeah, it does seem to not last long on battery. It also seems to charge better when on. But since it is meant to be plugged in to a computer most of the time, I think it is okay. It wasn't meant to be a daily driver.
