New update Notification Problem!

I just loaded the new update on my dev alpha A and found that i wasn't getting any notification when someone bbms me like i used to in the previous os update!
Anyone else facing the problem!

I have the same issue. Haven't had a chance to dig into whats going on yet.

EDIT: I'm using a Dev Alpha B

Ya, I think it has to do with the Hub notification placeholder they have right now. Right now, if you put the phone into development mode, it gets a phantom ping from Hub and your red LED light starts flashing....

I was wondering what was meant by hub notification placeholder. So the hooks and bits are there just being masked in this because they don't want us to have too much fun yet? (/me puts on tinfoil hat)

I had that problem with the previous beta, haven't yet with this one.

I have this problem too. Bummer as it means I'm not responding immediately to BBMs when they come through. It just seems to be BBM messages though, I get BBM invite notifications. I also noticed that third party app sound notifications work now too. Before, I was just getting an LED and splat notification.

I have the same problem and this is really annoying! Is there any alternative solution guys? Or is it worth a downgrade?

I'm living with it for now. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon with another update. In the meantime at least for me I've got plenty of other things to work on for my apps. I'm sure when I get to notifications I'll feel differently and hopefully by then it won't be an issue any more.

I have the same issue with my dev alpha B. I'm glad to know it's not just my unit. I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough. Just remember, it will all work perfect when we trade them in for a final device!

I think that by the time the hub is enabled it will probably fix the notification issue.

The gold release is in 7 days

Ok, so still no hub.

Notifications haven't been fixed either and it seems even the third party ones have stopped in this update too. Though I still get the LED and splat, I was kind of relying on the sound alerts.
