I just wanted to know how do I find out if my blackberry is locked
I bought it from axiom (blackberry Q5) and the person said it's not locked
But I put a etisalat sim in it and it shows the etisalat symbol when ever I turn it on
I haven't tried any simcards in it yet
But I'm going to leave dubai soon so I have to make sure
and will my voice and vid chat work in another country if the phone is unlocked or will it have issues because the phone was bought in dubai?

System Settings / Security and Privacy / SIM Card.

Once there, scroll down & under 'Phone Network Lock', it should say Unlocked three times. 'Network', 'Network Subset', 'Service Provider' should say Unlocked under them.

I suppose so but I am not able to answer that since I've yet to throw in a different carrier's SIM card in my phone.
