    I have a Dev Alpha A and want to turn it into a real phone. Ie: I want to make calls with it. Which is the best OS version to use?

    Check out this page from BlackBerry. The autoloader should load the newest software, and this should be the best to use, dependant on your model.

    Got 10.1.0.1485 but cannot make calls with it! Which one of the leaked ones allows for calls to be made with the Dev Alpha A?

    I've got the 648 build on my Dev Alpha A and it's running nicely with everything working. You're looking for a file called "load648STL100-1" and can find it posted at various sites. Here's the top two download sites Google found:

    Aside from not being able to make calls, how did the 10.1 build work on the Dev Alpha A? I don't care about calls much now that I have a Q10, and it might be nice to have a later build to run on it and test my development work with. If it works well, maybe you could give me a pointer to the loader or file combo you used to load up? Thanks!
