Bridge updates? Hmmm that is interesting, I wonder if we can bridge our phones to the dev alpha now....

Or did someone at rim copy and paste a PB change log there, lol

Im updating now but wont be likely I will be able to see the end result because i have to leave soon. I hope it goes by quickly.
Bridge and multi media? Will we finally get a pictures and video app?

Je suppose que vous avez changé le nom sur desktop software a devAlpha? Pouvez-vous me dire comment?

Let me dream until that poor holiday 1Mb DSL brings the update to my Alpha : Bridged SMS ? *drooling*
Oh, BTW, if you can't bridge, you can actually hotspot your OS7+ device

Very slow DL here too (and mama shouting @ me : "you b***d where supposed to have rehab during holidays, not begging your stupid laptop to go faster !" ) But I'll sure wait 4 it !!!

Name change is made in the DM under the terminal/properties menu; nothing magic

Same here, nothing visible "on scene" ... probably much more "behind" !
    No bridge enabled miracle.
@ACFP3 : maybe you tried several "hard reboot" with the 3 buttons ? Then you might have a bunch of screen captures just look into the "files" menu in DM

Figured it was a copy/paste (as in, no Bridge added to Dev Alpha).

Besides, wouldn't we want to have a Bridge connection between BB10/Dev Alpha and Playbook (instead of to a BB7 device)? After all, it is a phone-to-tablet connection. At least, hopefully when BB10 is actually released, it should work that way.

Looks like all that really changed was to the Android Player. It would be nice to see if more APIs were added.

    Use my Sachup app.

It can always provide links to upgrade and debrick firmware.

Same here. 3 tries to Upgrade then reboot. Hang at reboot. Reboot manually. Comes up and same version. I finally did a security wipe and now it's bricked.
I'll try the Sachup app. Xsacha link plz.

The sys.data.carrier_data.bar file is also available in this release, although you have to download it manually for some reason.

How did you find out about this file?

Edit: I see it's in 2.0.1.358 update (for Playbook)

Out of curiosity, I just wanted to see if any more files were available to download in 10.0.6.545 other than what was listed. The method you use to extract the download URLs in your Sachup program obviously doesn't list all files; I'm sure that's at RIM's discretion, though, since you send the request to their servers.
