that's great news because I was beginning to wonder if they had started shipping. I Don't want the release date of the Q10 to slip.

I'm a BlackBerry 10 app developer and I'm about to start porting my app to the Q10. Glad to hear that BlackBerry has started giving out Dev Alpha Cs.

    Os30,
Can you reveal how many times your app (or apps) has been downloaded?
What apps do you develop, as I'm getting my BB10 the 28th here in the US.

    Hey bjw,

I'd rather not say how many times its been downloaded. But I was an Android developer previously and in the 6 weeks that I've had my app live, I've had more downloads than I got in a year on Android. I think there are stats that show that BlackBerry users are more likely to pay for apps and developers on BlackBerry make more money (on average) than any other platform.

App is called "National Rail Times". (link is in my signature) its primarily for UK trains not US trains.

You can View train times, delays, cancellations, etc. Also get push notifications If your favourite train journeys are delayed or cancelled. Saving you a trip to the stations. No other rail app does this. (v2.1 with Push has been submitted is awaiting approval from blackberry world. Approval typically takes a few days) .

Feel free to show your support and purchase if you think the app will be useful.

    Cheers.
