Hi,
I received my DAC last week and I love it !
I'm using it as my primary phone, it beats my old LG Optimus 2X.

But I want to protect it a bit.
Did someone found a protection for it ?
I know there is no official protection for it, but maybe one with the same sizes as the DAC.

You mean a "case" of course, and I'd say just wait until someone in china (read: ebay) gives you one. They made one for the Dev Alpha A and B so why not the C.

Also remember that the dev alpha B was a z10 IN A CASE
and the Dev alpha C _IS_ a Q10 in a case already.

It's pretty much indestructable, and just as good as having a case on a Q10.

I, like you, have been using my Dev Apha C as my primary device for two weeks now and have dropped the device countless of times.

Other than some nicks and scraches the device is fine.

In fact, I received a new Dev alpha C and realizes just how banged up my original dev apha B was when I saw the new one.

And the old one is unscratched.

Unlike my Red Z10 which has a cracked screen :'-(

I've bought a phone pouch/sock for it. I don't like using it, but it's the only protection. Unless you change it to a q10 housing and get a case for it.

How are you using it as your primary phone? I can't make calls from my DAC

Yes I was talking of a Case, In french a protection is a synonym of case... Thanks for your message, I think I'll leave my DAC as it's ans will take care of it. I've never dropped my phones since now so I think I can do it with the DAC.
I tried to go to the mall for a sock and everybody said that it's too big... BTW, they were really impressed by this abnormal phone.

@metalyptaz: To use it as a primary phone, you must install a leaked OS from the Q10, mine uses the 10.1.0.1483. It's really easy and the phone is even more powerful !

You WILL drop it. The hard plastic is very slippery.
As a temp measure, you can use the rubber case which came with the Dev A or something similar.

I think you can buy some for the Q10 and cut the top of the screen.

I use a Samsung Galaxy S4 (big version) hose to protect my dev alpha c, fits perfect. Now i'm searhing for a better protection, one that's from bb and that uses the save power function.
