    Is this possible? its quite frustrating as android port doesnt connect with the camera and so its impossible to make video calls.

    Besides the 3rd party app game is looking good. there are some really nice 3rd party native app altrnatives for the big name apps.

    Has somebody considered this???

    It is possible. It probably would not make financial sense for indie developers, unless they are flush with cash, or they charge a higher price for the app, or there is enough demand to justify development. Just my 2 cents.
