With the original developer gone, he left an amazing app to be worked on by another BB10 developer. Who will take this app to the next level?

We have the real Google Play Store now thanks to Cobalt. No need for Snap.

Unlike Snap, the Play Store can download obb files and allows app purchasing and in-app purchases.

The cobalt thing is janky and crap. Snap is a better app.

Its fine we just need another developer to take the project. The dev has said he would gove the project to another developer

I prefer Snap. Had Cobalt's GP store but uninstalled it. But it is good to have choice.

I can imagine people still prefer a native experience. (even if I'm not a GPS user)

There seems to be apps in GP that you don't see in Snap.
    Needs an update or something.

Well, it seems to run as smooth as silk even on my old Z10s. Maybe you should give it another try.

Same here. Tried Cobalt store but uninstalled it. Snap is a quick, light weight native app. It serves my Google app needs completely.

There's no need. Cobalt's version is far better than Snap. And you don't need pc to install it.

No, you just have to download 3 other apps in a tight specific order, just as much hassle IMHO. I still prefer Snap and it's UI. I also found Snap loads quicker. Anyway I respectfully disagree.

Look guys lets stay focused. Cobalt is fine for those people who like it, However most people want to see Snap taken to the next level and there are amazing developer working on BB10 that could take it next level.....google service trickery even...so much potential in the hands of a focused BB10 developer.

Let go guys lets show what BB10 and Snap is capable of in the hands of a kick *** dev!!!!

Snap, although it works well in some cases, is so far behind, that the task is pretty daunting. It's hard to justify the time when you can't really bring a whole lot to the table.

I disagree, this is a great opportunity to take snap to the next level, all we need is a developer to take it over. I can't wait to see what a motivated developer can do with the app going forward.

I'd rather install 3 or more files on the phone itself than plugging on the pc/laptop. Much way faster even on the go

What's the difference between Snap and Colbalt's Google play ?
If I want to download an android app that works, which one of them should I choose ?

Native is ofcorz way better.maybe cobalt can takeover snap and somehow collaborate with his GPS and give us a native experience.
I know from somebody, even if GPS by cobalt appears to be androidish, it isnt unsafe as it is in Android. But still native is always better than half native.
I would say cobalt to implement it better. He ofcorz can do it real good. He have clearly shown his talent with his GPS in BB10.

Cobalt's work with the Google playstore is impressive and extremely useful. However I found that the GPS was draining my battery so went back to Snap. Miss the app variety from the GPS but prefer a longer lasting battery. Fortunately don't need many android apps.

You may wish to try it again. The battery issues have long since been fixed. Battery use is insignificant now.
