Got my Z10 the other day and loving it. Takes a bit of getting used to but so do all good things

Does anyone know if they have developed the WhatsApp app for the Z10 yet or if not when it might be available.

Ned, I don't think it's available yet and I don't think anyone knows when it will be officially released.

I believe it is in development right now, with no ETA. It will be a native bb10 app though

You can side load it and works pretty good. It just cant connect to your contacts so you have to wait until they contact you.

With side loaded whatsapp, u will not get a notification unless the app is running.

Wrong. I get notifications when the app is closed.

Buzz on the wire has it that this is a top priority for BBRY (still getting used to not typing RIM or RIMM);
Not getting WhatsApp onto BB10 will only further BB10 adoption.

An official .BAR port from WhatsApp Inc sponsored by RIM should happen immediately.

yes you do, it will send a notification via the Hubb and you will get the "Spark" on the icon as well
