    Hi,

    Had numerous crashes when using this app, generally what happens in that I can chat for a bit and then someone will reply and the app will be unresponsive but still chime with the light flashing but I can't see their reply in the same Window or close the app without resorting to a battery pull.

    Anyone else have this issue? Before 10.1 the app was fine and reliable, now it's crap!!

    Hi And Welcome to CrackBerry!
    I use Whatsapp daily and never have a problem like you described..However I am still on 10.0.9.422.
    Have you tried contacting Whatsapp developers and asking your question to their software support? I think there is also a whatsapp thread here in the forums and you could try posting there as well.

    Good Luck and I hope they issue an update to solve your problems.

    Just happened to me again. I'm on 10.1.0.2354. It simply hangs the UI, nothing will reset the phone short of a battery pull.

    Glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with Whatsapp on my Z10. I'm using 10.1 as well.

    On 2354, but no lagging of whatsapp.
    Try refreshing your contacts and let the OS settle in for a couple of days

    I had the same problem.

    I think it was from updating to the latest official OS.

    reinstall whatsapp and the problem of locking up and freezing should disappear.

    No, it didn't disappear. But Whatsapp got updated today. So let's see over the days whether crashing of UI stops.
