Why is that? I always preferred FastTube, but couldn't quite pin down why I didn't really like SuperTube. Something just didn't quite feel right.

In ideal world, app would not be require because the web site would be so well designed :-)

I'm in the same boat as you. Something about the navigation/interface of SuperTube really makes me squirm. With fasttube it boots up quick, I hit search and I find a video, no bs. I also like swiping down from the top to access the "now playing" video if I accidentally swipe it away.

Using the website will generally be faster/more reliable anyways so for most people this is a non issue!

Currently both are bombing out on me. Search results in Supertube are broken. Fasttube has trouble viewing and preloading videos for whatever reason. It's been like this for almost two months. I emailed the developer, got no answer. I'm sure they know the issue is there and I really hope they fix it. This will push me to android if it doesn't get sorted, here's hoping!

Not really no. Honestly I like to preload vids and listen on my commute. The BlackBerry 10 browser is showing its age. I love it in many ways but without updates to the browser engine, especially the JavaScript, it's becoming less and less performant.

There is an option to reset supertube in supertube settings. Try it. Dev advised me to do it and ever since then it is working real good.

And yes...I too was in fast tube boat always. But the quick support by dev of supertube pull me to it now

I bet that FastTube has gone for good. The latest version is almost two years old and dev gives no reply.

I don't really like SuperTube interface (even I changed the layout, it's still confusing!), but... Being still on OS10, there is never a straight path to do things the simple way.

The developer most likely pulled it from BBWorld as a result of being bombarded by complaints about the app running into errors when trying to play videos.
