Wow, lots of old school guys here. Tether? Really? Hotspot not doing it for you? Memopad? I agree Remember isn't a very elegant replacement for Memopad, but if we are not going to be elegant anyway, Docs To Go works for me. Im sure most of these suggestions are out of nostalgia and not strictly for functional reasons.

My provider has hotspot and the built-in tethering features locked down until you sign up and pay extra, which I refuse to do.

You're right, I used Thether with my 9650, it was a good way to bypass carrier charges.

There no news app on blackberry 10 that works as well.....does anybody know of any good news apps? One that pulls in stories from all different sites? like reuters etc etc

I used to be able to cycle thru all the stories, load each article in a different page, so I can read them when I had no service. There's nothing like that on BB10 it seems

Oh please BlackBerry devs, bring back the wholeness of this awesome app. I keep my legacy device in the car cause I sometimes connect that to check my commute route on the back end. Or to see what the 2nd option route is.

Traffic had a few features which I used regularly, but are not available on BlackBerry 10.

News was simple and straight forward. Check in; check out. I liked that.

Remember is something I could really use and would be superior to most other task/memo apps (keeping it simple), if I could change folders between unfiled and other folders I've created.

Contacts. I miss the simplicity of life that was available when contacts just worked. No duplicates, no random replication of numbers, and linking didn't screw up my address book.

Leave it on so my phone screen would stay on when on charger and an app to change my keyboard shortcuts so each button on my 9900 could open an app from home screen. Never used universal search anyway. Hopefully some apps will come out to do these things on my Q10

Ubersocial android app works really well. I used Snap to install it on mine because that was a dealbreaker for me too. I don't like any other twitter app.

Oh and I do love the BatteryEx app too which isn't even made anymore

Just remembered I need quicklaunch too due to no keyboard shortcuts on the Q10
