It's been ages since the last update was rolled out. During this very period, there has been a dozen of updates on ios and android, but us BlackBerry users are getting ZERO update.
So, to get the updates we are all longing for, Email petition I propose to you. Emails we send should be titled "Desperately Needed Wechat (BlackBerry) Update". And the email address of the developer is [email protected] Meanwhile, feel free to express your desperation by carefully choosing words started with C and F.
Together, we shall make it. Damn, I like democracy.

I don't think this company cares at all, even for this iOS app. Their primary market is China and they don't even support deleting your account.

For Chinese users it must be a drag being locked to WeChat so I do understand, but in this case it's sort of like yelling at the wind.

Yep. Swapping between devices or the versions of the app seems to lose your history. The Android version works fine on the Passport, but my worry is that as more people download and use Android apps on their BB then native BB apps become even more irrelevant and impractical for developers to create. Almost like BB is shooting itself in the foot there, ....or part of a master plan?

Which andriod version works really well? There are no push notification via sideloading.

I ended up installing the latest Android version via SNAP. More functionality but a little (okay may be more) laggy.

Can you get push notification from the Android version? Do you need to leave the app open in active frame in order to get push notification?
