    Just received this message today via WeChat app for BB10 itself :


    WeChat made a mess!-img_00000034.png

    And then after did a checked up, there is still no update/upgrade provided yet in BBWorld. What a joke! Haha

    We are just 4 days away and did they will still have a time developing it? Who knows? And perhaps WeChat no longer care about BlackBerry 10 platform.

    Anyway, TGIF, Have a good weekend ahead fellas!

    And what took my concern too is BB10 WeChat app isn't developed by Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Corporation, the actual developer for WeChat on iOS and Android. Just look how far we are behind those two in terms of apps. Really sad!

    I did and just wait for their response. This is happening to everybody though, I checked on the app reviews and everybody mocking about this.

    And what took my concern too is BB10 WeChat app isn't developed by Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Corporation, the actual developer for WeChat on iOS and Android. Just look how far we are behind those two in terms of apps. Really sad!
    It seems developer of this bb10 app is a Singapore subsidiary of Tencent from what I can find on Google.

    I would say so. I remember having read WeChat is a rebranded version for international market. It is called Weixin in China. Tencent tried to launch it outside China in original name without gaining traction and rebranded it as WeChat a few years ago. Apart from name change, it is essentially the same thing from what I heard.

    You need to have the latest official update (10.1 MR) on ur device to make sure it is integrated to the hub.

    Nope. I installed my WeChat on the 20/8 due to OS update. No unusual message from WeChat team at all. Only the 'welcome back' message.

    Any hub integration? It showed up 1 time on 10.0.2.1443 and then disapeared from the hub. I have not tried to delete and uninstall yet but seems odd.

    I am running 10.1MR official, and there is hub integration.
    I don't use WeChat a lot, so I don't have it running as active frame. But when someone sends me message, I do get the hub notification.
