Hey guys,
so waze work kindof fine on my Z30 except it breaks every week, won't load without me turning off the "location services" on the phone, send error logs and even then it has problems...

Uninstall and reinstall fix the problem.

So i wonder - Does anyone use the android version from snap or amazon??
is it better than the one in our app world??

BBWorld version here - no issues.

But I haven't been on official OS's for a good while now...

I would try the android version just for the halibut. You never know. It might work better. Does it take up a lot of memory on your phone?

It is available only the z10 and z30 but not available on q10 don't know about other models but the android app from amazon/snap work on all devices I use the android version on all of them with no problems

I use the version from BBW almost daily. Every once in a while it will crash while routing or will fail to restart, but other than that, it works fine

Same problem here. After crash the Waze has to be reinstated again, otherwise it is not working.

I'm on Q10 so I'm using the one from snap. It doesn't crash but sometimes closes on itself when minimized for a long time.

ok guys, since the last time i've had no problems but next time it crushed i'll try the snap version.

I wish they at least updated the BBW version every now and then..this "bug" could have been resolved a long time ago anyway..

I've been using the android version of Waze for the last 3 months after all the problems I had with the BlackBerry version. I got it through Amazon App Store. There are more options on the android version and I've had it blank out once one my Z30 but downloaded it again with no issue.

Wish this was the version that was actually ported over.

A Better Version is Available!

I like the application but would have to un-install and reinstall frequently.
BlackBerry World and Amazon host version 3.6.0.0 of waze which for me would lockup at a particular intersection 90% of the time.
It would not save my units of measure either.

I uninstalled it and downloaded version 3.9.0.0 from APK4Fun.com.

There we go - No issues so far!

I don't know why waze does not want to update the Amazon or BlackBerry World with the latest APK though.
